Last week I was vacant from the blog world... several reasons.... here we go!!!!
My hubby was off last week for a 4th of July break. Every year his company shuts down for a week around the 4th. It is wonderful to have him home but hard to let him go back! We had planned on going to visit my parents in the Smoky Mountains but I came down with a HORRIBLE cold. Sore throat, congestion, aches, and pains.... you know, fun stuff. So I called my parents and they said to stay home and rest. Ha! Rest, what is that.... I should have gone on to the mountains... there I would not have had to cook, or do laundry!!!!
By Tues. I felt better so we began a fun week together. We took the kids fishing at the near by lake and they loved it. They fished and swam at the same time. The weather was beautiful so we decided to take a picnic. 
The rest of the week was very relaxing. We did a few things around the house that desprately needed to be done.
We spent the 4th at my mother-in-laws by the pool! It was wonderful!!! My nephew Kaleb had so much fun that he fell asleep on his float in the pool!
See those orange goggles Kaleb has on? They are majic goggles! Kaleb would not go under water so my sister-in-law got him the goggles thinking they might help him keep the water out of his eyes.....well...now he has turned in to a little fish. He constantly goes under water. He has started picking up dive sticks off the bottom..... they are majic goggles I tell you!!!
Hopefully I will not be as absent as last week from now on! I miss keeping up with my bloggie friends!!!!

I'm glad that you're feeling better--it's hard to actually take a break, isn't it? I am always staring at all of the things that need to be done.

Being sick is so not fun! Glad you felt better, and looks like you had a great time! LOVE the pool pics...how cute! Sometimes the mommies just have to get sick in order to take a break! Hope you got the rest and relaxation you needed!
