Who's coming over, Mom?

That's the question I always get when I start my major cleaning projects. Especially when I tell my daughter to clean her room. For some reason in my delusional mind I thought that girls were suppose to keep cleaner rooms than boys. Not the case here at the Scarbary Estate. My son's room is always picked up with everything in its place. My daughter, well lets put it this way......I can't get the vacuum in her room. I just shut the door. She will get in kicks were she will clean it spotless and then 1-2 days later , BAM, back to shutting the door. I keep praying that one day she will realize it is a total disaster and change her ways!!!! Oh, well.
I am doing a whole house cleaning over the next few weeks. It is really depressing to me to see how dirty our house is.... but we do live in it!! I started with the kitchen yesterday and cleaned baseboards and windows. More of it today and the rest of the house later.
Wish me luck!!!!!

Ugh!!! Me too! I need about a month to clean...and for the kids to be nowhere in the house...or it will never happen! I'm the same way, if someone's coming over, we clean up...but usually it's in disarray! Oh well, you're right, it's definitely lived in! Good luck!

The same deal at our house. These last few weeks of school have been make a pile week. Now I've got bills, camp forms, magazines, pictures, ...you name it, it's probably piled somewhere in my house.

It's so bad that we have four cordless phones and I can only find two. Neither one is on the charger as of right now.

That's what happens when you get busy with kids. I guess it's only natural. I'm pretty good at chaos, but I get to the crazy point every so often. I'm there right now.

I'll be thinking of you as I clean today...hope you get a chance to put your feet up and enjoy at some point :) Take care!

Well I don't have a girl, but I remember these same disagreements between my mom and me growing up. I was terrible at cleaning my room! I try to do a better job cleaning my house now! Well, I try ;)

Take care my friend! Good luck cleaning your house!
